Evan is currently the CEO of Rainbow's End Theme Park in Manukau City and Managing Director of Guardrail Auckland & Counties Scaffold. Previously held positions include Group Operations Manager New Zealand with Bond & Bond home appliance chain (6 years), Money Market Dealer / Funds Manager for AMP Financial Corporation (3yrs), NZ Police Detective (12 years) working in specialist areas and RNZAF aircraft mechanic (4 years).

Evan currently chairs the Tourism Taskforce Committee which is creating a tourism action plan for the Franklin District. He has also sat on various committees & action groups with Manukau City Council on tourism matters & city centre development.
