Gary Hook is currently Vice President NZ & Pacific Islands Building Markets for New Zealand Steel (A BlueScope Steel Company). 

As part of the senior management team at NZS, Gary is responsible for the Pipe and Tube operation at Glenbrook and the building component businesses in Takanini, Fiji, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.

Previously held positions with BHP/BlueScope Steel include 12 years overseas holding positions of Country Manager Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei, President Director BHP Steel Indonesia, Manager Supply Chain Asia, and various management roles in Australia and NZ steel manufacturing, mining and transport.
